Join us in creating a variety of projects using up-cycled materials that can be saved, collected or gathered. Each week we will dive into a new project, to take home, as we learn how to preserve our planet, increase our creativity, effectively use our resources and make friends while having fun!

About the event
Join us in creating a variety of projects using up-cycled materials that can be saved, collected or gathered. Each week we will dive into a new project as we learn how to preserve our planet, increase our creativity, effectively use our resources and make friends while having fun! Each week you will have an awesome project to take home with you that you can use or give as a thoughtful and awesome gift!
Learn creative techniques to:
Save, gather and collect materials that can be repurposed into thoughtful and purposeful gifts or tools.
Explore various upcycling methods including but not limited to: painting, sewing, or collage.
Take a plunge in the pool of creativity and discover new designing principles to add functionality and new life to seasoned items.
Participate in hands-on projects to make and take home with you!
Share ideas and collaborate with fellow participants for inspiration and friendship building.
Learn about sustainable practices and the environmental benefits of upcycling.
*This class is intended for people 10-15 years old
Instructor: Jessica Baldi
A lifelong native of the beautiful Catskill mountains, Jessica thrives on the abundant resources that surround us. In a world where we have far more than we could ever use, Jessica finds great joy, and fun, in reinventing commonly discarded items and transforming them into purposeful, functioning, and super cute things, that can be used in your home, the land, or gifted.
